About Peirce Middle School Physical Education. |
The goal of the middle school physical education class is to create well rounded students and athletes. Students should hold high expectations for themselves and classmates. During the units, students will look to grow, not only physically, but also emotionally. Students will build lifelong skills they will be able to take with them past their time at Peirce.
Recent NewsThe first two weeks of class have been amazing! The students were welcomed back with team building activities and were able to learn the names and faces of new students to Peirce. As the middle school moved to week two fitness testing began. Students completed the 1 mile run, Sit and reach flexibility test, push-up test, curl up test, and the PACER running test. Each test will be given to the students one time each quarter. The students then set goals in each category for the fourth quarter. The students have set high expectations for themselves and I can not wait to see how many reach or blow past what they thought they were capable of. We are now starting out football unit. With the help of Fuel up and play 60 campaign. The campaign is designed to keep students moving and learn the sport of football.
